  <description>&lt;strong&gt;I had sushi for lunch today.&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Haha, yeah. I&apos;m really running out of actions for those. I need to have more interesting a life. Geez! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, what&apos;s up kids? I&apos;m here to update, since it&apos;s been over a week or something, and that&apos;s bad. So here&apos;s how the past like... week or so has gone. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On Wednesday of last week, I flew to LaGuardia New York, and took a bus into the city. I met Francesca, her parents, and her friend Matilde, and we had dinner to celebrate Francesca&apos;s 17th birthday. Yikkkkkes. I can&apos;t believe how old everyone is. Rebecca, Leah, Francesca... It&apos;s insane. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So for that week, I chilled in New Jersey with Fran. We basically didn&apos;t do anything. It was Pessach (Passover), so basically we just had matzah and oranges, and occasionally some ice cream. It was yummy stuff! I think the best part of that trip was playing frisbee on Sunday at the park. &quot;K. K. Good.&quot; or &quot;Yeah, yeah, about that.&quot; or &quot;You could have sat on that! Come on!&quot; We got so good in an hour! Except we still kinda sucked. But it was better than the first few throws. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On Monday, I trained back into NYC and took a taxi to Laguardia, and then sat for three hours for my plane. Thanks, Gilbert (lol). Basically, I read the book we&apos;re reading for English (The Handmaid&apos;s Tale), and yeah. It was kinda boring. But LaGuardia is such a crappy airport! I mean, comparatively speaking, Toronto has a very nice airport. The one in Miami was pretty shitty too. Newark is nice though. But Toronto is the best, and not only the new terminal! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yeah, that was a random rant about airports. Moving on... &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So over all, I had lots of fun in New Jersey. Going back to school yesterday wasn&apos;t very fun. I don&apos;t really remember anything about Tuesday. In fact, it feels as though it didn&apos;t happen. Let me try and think... after school, Alexandra came over and we worked on our Gestion presentation... Um... Ooh!! I had Sign Language yesterday! My first class of level 1C. Yoos! It was fun stuff. We&apos;re learning &quot;How to give directions&quot; but in more detail than we learned before. Now it&apos;s over different floors in a building now! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Um, so yes. Today wasn&apos;t that interesting. I went out for lunch with Alexandra to celebrate her birthday that was on Saturday. She turned 16! Haha, I&apos;m actually older than her! Mwahahaha. Uh... and then yeah. I skipped my last period class (Theorie de la connaissance) because we never do anything, I don&apos;t get a credit, and I didn&apos;t feel like staying. So yeah. That brought me here. Well, I took a shower when I got home, and THEN that brought me here. As far as updates go, this isn&apos;t all that interesting. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Haha, I&apos;m listening to S Club 7. Oh Windows Media Player Shuffle... &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Keydoke, kids.   <title>I SKI INSTRUCTED today.</title>

  <description>Oh my goodness. These kids are SOO cute. In my group, I have Sara, Callum, Chloe, Anastasia, Leal, and Brooke. Anastasia is sooo cute! She&apos;s really little, and wears all pink, and 7 years-old, so I have to help her onto the lift. And she&apos;s russian, so her English is accented and kind of halting, and she babbles on and on about everything, and it&apos;s SO cute. When we&apos;re in the lift line, I have to hold her hand and pull her along, because she doesn&apos;t move very fast on her own, and she goes &quot;Yeah yeahyeahyeahyeah...&quot; because she&apos;s nervous. It&apos;s so cute, I can&apos;t even tell you. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And then Brooke falls all the time, and can&apos;t get back up, so I have to like, pick her up, which is pretty annoying when I&apos;m down the hill and she&apos;s sitting there in the middle of the hill struggling to get up, and so someone invariably has to help her. I really need to teach her how to get up, except I&apos;m pretty bad at getting up myself without popping my ski. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I didn&apos;t really teach my kids anything today, but I will tomorrow. These kids are going to learn how to side slip, so help me. They don&apos;t even know to stand across the hill! They don&apos;t edge! It&apos;s insane! But they&apos;re much better than I expected, so that&apos;s good. They can all ride the lift, save for Anastasia, who just needs help staying on the chair. :)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But eating lunch is so difficult! These kids just LOVE talking at me. I&apos;m trying to pay attention to everyone, and struggling to eat my sandwich. But since they&apos;re talking to me, I have to reply, and so I can&apos;t talk with my mouth full, and... sigh. I only got one half and a sliced apple in. But it was fun. By the time I got home though, I was STARRRVING. I woke up at 6 today, left at 7, and got back at 5:40. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Did I mention the part where my boss picks me up and drives me up with him? It&apos;s pretty... embarassing, I guess. I feel so... impose-y. But they live like, down the road, and my mom&apos;s not working Christmas Break, so she doesn&apos;t want to drive me... Bleah.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But. I LOVE TEACHING. I swear, it&apos;s the highlight of my life. It&apos;s so nice to finally be here. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&apos;ve gotta go finalise my Lesson Plan for tomorrow, so I&apos;m off. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Later!</description>

  <title>Sleepover at Tamar&apos;s 3rd Edition</title>

  <description>I made tortellini for breakfast this morning with Simon, Kyle and Edwina. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I swear to buddha, I bust a gut from laughing so much last night and this morning. It was soooo much fun. Omd, where to start, I don&apos;t even know... Um, okay. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yesterday, Kyle, Simon and Edwina came over. Then we went out, and we were soo hungry. On our way to the World of Posters, we went to Subway. Kyle chews really slowly, so by the end, I was forced to shove his last bit of sub into his mouth. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&quot;Cram it! Cram it all in!&quot;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then we linked arms, and made an Impenetrable Chain. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&quot;COMPRESS! EXPAND! SHIFT LEFT! SHIFT RIGHT! COMPRESS RAMMM CENTRE!&quot; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The chain eventually evolved into a peroxide molecule, Simon and I being oxygen atoms, and Kyle and Edwina being hydrogen atoms. Yes. We&apos;re super science nerds, I&apos;ve discovered. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is going to be so abbreviated, it&apos;s not even funny. We already catalogued the highlights of the evening in The Book, so this isn&apos;t really for anyone... but still. It&apos;s worth it to write it down. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&quot;LET ME SEE YOUR UNDERWEAR!&quot;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Okay, so fast forward&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; We&apos;re going to get ice cream! What did we do while we were there?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&quot;LAUNCH!   <title>I fell asleep in Economy today.</title>

  <description>So what else is new?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well! Let me tell you all about my day! So, I woke up in the morning as per usual, and dragged my tired ass out of bed. On my way to school, I noticed (or rather heard) the REALLY loud fire trucks driving in abundance in my school&apos;s generation. To my surprise... my school was their exact destination!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All the students were at the back of the street behind the school-type place. At 8:40 we went to class. So not only did we miss 10 minutes of Economy, but all the periods today were 10 minutes shorter because we had Enseignant Guide, which is kinda like TAP but it&apos;s some Wednesday or another, at random intervals. I dunno, it&apos;s pretty random.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, so I had Economy (only 40 minutes!) and then I had Math where I was tired, but I learned some new stuff, which was pretty cool. I found out that Wesley can only read orange clocks (...???). &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On my way to my third period class (Civics), I made a pitstop at my locker to dump off some stuff. Just as I opened my lock, the fire alarm goes off AGAIN! Someone pulled it again!! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now, usually, this would be pretty cool, but I was so annoyed! You know how much money the school pays for false alarms? 400$ fine!! And TWICE in 3 hours? That&apos;s 800$ right off the bat! 800$ that could be used for something COOL, like instruments, or computers or stuff. And they blow it on getting out of class for 10 minutes, which they have to spend outside in the cold anyway? GAH!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In any case, it was Paul&apos;s brother, who got suspended. I&apos;m glad.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, so I had Civics, and then Lunch, and then French, and then this foire type thing for course selections. T&apos;was pretty random, and uneventful.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So then we had art, and I&apos;ll give you three guesses as to what M. Landry.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you guessed that he didn&apos;t show -- YOU&apos;RE RIGHT. And this time, we stayed the whole time waiting for him, and 5 minutes before the school ended, we called down to the bureau and they&apos;re like &quot;Oh yeah, we&apos;ll ask him,&quot; and we were like &quot;...???&quot; so we ran out of the class (I didn&apos;t really get it, but it was funny). On our way out, we ran into him (after school ended) and we were like, &quot;M. Landry, why didn&apos;t you show up?&quot; and he replied with &quot;Oh! J&apos;ai pense que la classe etait CANCELLE!&quot; Now, if you spoke french, you&apos;d know that &apos;canceller&apos; is not how you say &apos;cancelled&apos;. The correct word would be &apos;annuler&apos;. BAH! What a douchebag. And it would be slightly more understandable had there NOT BEEN AN ANNOUNCEMENT telling everyone to go to their last period class!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Whatever.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I went home, and I had an idea. I knew that Wesley was going to Chapters in my building, since he&apos;d told me. I waited so that we could go together but he was so slow that I just left. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, on my way home, I thought of an idea! I knew he was going to look for a music book, and I knew where that section was, so I went home, got some post-its and wrote his name and some messages on them. I then went into Chapters. I was on the escalator between the 2nd and 3rd floor and looked down to see him on the escalator between the 1st and 2nd floor!! Luckily, he hadn&apos;t spotted me. I then RAN for it, to get to the music section before he got there. I stuck the post-it on the bookshelf (and got a funny look from someone standing there) and then snuck my way through the bookshelves, at the far left where he wouldn&apos;t be walking. I waited a few minutes and then poked my head around to see if I could go, and he was standing several feet away looking at a book at a stand. I waited a few more minutes, and not-seeing him, I ran downstairs and home.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don&apos;t know if he found the post-its.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I hope he did.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It was so much fun, though.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;He&apos;ll definitely know it was me, since I wrote &quot;Weeeeeeesley!&quot; on one of them, and I always say that to him.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hah! So much fun!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, I&apos;m going to a Toronto Symphony Orchestra performance now, so I&apos;ll catch y&apos;all on da flip saaah-ide.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Later!</description>

  <description>My head hurts like a bitch. And it&apos;s only getting worse becaues in the apartment beside they&apos;re drilling NON-STOP and it&apos;s THE most annoying thing EVER. And it&apos;s only worse because I&apos;m trying to watch TV and it&apos;s loud loud loud, because I can&apos;t hear anything. Shit, it&apos;s so annoying. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, I felt like I should post because I haven&apos;t in forever. I&apos;ll tell you about my weekend. On Satruday, I woke up at 6:15 a.m. (bleah) and I got ready for skiing. I slept on the way there. Actually, it was pretty funny, because at frist Reese was sitting beside me, and I fell asleep on the window, and then when I woke up a half hour later, he was gone. It was great. I got to stretch out on the double seats. It was very nice.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Once we got to Blue Mountain, I got my skiis from under the bus, and I met up with the rest of the group. When I got to the Instructor Training area, there were Phil and Dave. My two favourite instructors. Phil was like &quot;Ah, Tamar. I&apos;ve been waiting for her to take IT since I met her a few years ago.&quot; So have I. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In any case, my instructor was absent because he&apos;s sick, so my group got Jordan instead. Man, he rules! He taught us the 5 basis of skiing. Stance and balance (fore, and aft, lateral, vertical and rotational). Pivoting. Edging. Timing and coordination. Pressure Control. It&apos;s all really interesting. But skiing was so intense. One of the last runs, by the time I got to the bottom, I could barely stand. It&apos;s cuz conditions were really crappy, and there were tons of bumps, and that&apos;s a shit load of pressure control. But damn, it was fun! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, when I got home, I hurt EVERYWHERE and I was so tired, and I went to sleep at 11 because I spent some time with Kinneret because she was leaving the next day to go back to Queen&apos;s. But I conked out so fast. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, yesterday (Sunday) I woke up at 12 (read: 13 hours for sleep) and I lazed about and then I went to Carly&apos;s and it was fun. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In any case, I&apos;m watching Anger Management on TMN on Demand, and it&apos;s just like... yup. It&apos;s rather funny. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yay! I just realized that the drilling stopped! This is great! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;K, I&apos;m hungry and bored. I gotta go. Bye bye!</description>

  <description>Yes well, I knew this day would come soon. And it only seems fair, sort of, because Vanessa conformed to Xanga, therefore I feel I owe her. And anyway, it makes it easier to comment on ppl&apos;s pages. Damn you PSYL-ers. But I still love you guys.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I wonder if anyone would actually read this to begin with. I think I&apos;ll just copy-paste my Xanga posts. Why change anything? That&apos;s just SUCH a bother. So! In light of that: &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I did some Science homework today.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Isn&apos;t that absolutely fascinating? I know you&apos;re so interested, that you could die. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Actually, the homework was pretty hard and I did a lot of it wrong, but I&apos;m gonna wait for when we&apos;re in-class so that I can ask. I think it&apos;s a Work Period today, anyway.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So! Hello! I am back! I&apos;m sorry about my extended absence, I know it&apos;s weird when I don&apos;t post every-other day or whatever. I was in New Jersey though, visiting Francesca and it was lots of fun! On New Year&apos;s Eve, we played Scrabble and watched I Love The 90&apos;s, which is the best show on VH1. I wish they had it in Canada. Such a good show. We also went to New York on my birthday, so that we could go skating in Central Park/Rockefeller Centre, but it was so packed that we just walked around on 5th Avenue. Tons of fun!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Speaking of birthdays, HAPPY BELATED B-DAY VINI! I tried to call you the day of, but NONE OF YOUR NUMBERS WORK, you loser. I hope you&apos;re feeling better!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In other news, I got some of my marks back for exams. I scored somewhere in the high 70&apos;s/low 80&apos;s on everything, except Math, where all I know is that I got &apos;&apos;much higher than 85&apos;&apos; which is all M. Morvan will tell me. But! I got my final mark for Science back, and it&apos;s an 86!!! I&apos;m very pleased with that, &apos;cause I know there&apos;s only space for improvement. And with all the adjusting of language and habit that I&apos;ve been doing... 86 is freakin&apos; AWESOME mark! So HAH! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I also know that I did very well in Music, because M. Landry hinted at it. And he loves me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Speaking of M. Landry (AKA: the music teacher that is so incompetent I&apos;m surprised he can dress himself) has replaced my ART teacher, so now, instead of three times, I see him SIX times a week. And he doesn&apos;t know a single thing about Art. At all! And while I&apos;ll probably get better marks this way, I won&apos;t acquire any skills, which is surprisingly annoying. You know what the first thing he brought up was? Painting the classroom. Ring any bells, guys? Remember how I also painted the music room? Gaaaaah. He&apos;s like... the school&apos;s version of an Interior Designer. It pisses me off so freaking much!!!!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Damn, I hate his teaching methods. So incompetent. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So anyway... that&apos;s about all I have to say... How did everyone&apos;s breaks go?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;EDIT***&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Did you know that if you search &quot;M. Landry&quot; and Xanga, my site comes up? That&apos;s pretty scary. Ah well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;EDIT***&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Omd. Landry has topped himself with stupidity. He didn&apos;t even SHOW UP for our last period art class. Well, he was 20 minutes late, so we all just left. We put all the chairs up on the desk, turned of all the lights, wrote a message on the board (&quot;Sorry you missed us. - Art Class (last period) and then we snuck out, in a straight line, tip-toeing to our lockers and then out the school. On my way out, Christian told us that M. Landry showed up and was wondering where everyone went, but I left anyway. Ah well. Who cares. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In other news: R.I.P Marie Dubeau.</description>
